Although the material of coniferous trees is soft, it has high strength,small dry and wet deformation, and strong corrosion resistance. The material is heavy and hard, and difficult to process, so it is also called hardwood. Broad-leaved trees have high apparent density,high strength, large dry-wet deformation, and are easy to crack and warp. They are suitable for small-sized wood components. Common valve-leaf tree species are ash, birch, beech, oak, elm and so on.
